Fablelistik brings #1 New York Times best-selling author Rebecca Yarros’s Empyrean series to life with four breathtakingly beautiful editions, exquisitely crafted to transport you to the world of Fourth Wing. All editions feature reimagined maps of The Continent and Basgaith War College; new chapter openers with dragon-wrapped dropcaps; Epigraph pages with storyline Easter eggs hidden throughout the design; 4-color printing throughout; custom endpapers per Edition; and a signature page tipped in, signed by Rebecca Yarros and all Edition-specific artists and collaborators.

Our two unique Collector’s Editions, one for Violet and one for Xaden (limited to 5,000 copies each), feature exclusive, character-specific covers and slipcases, as well as interior artwork that illustrates a few fan-favorite scenes from their edition-specific, character perspective.

Our Numbered Edition (limited to 500 copies) represents the combined powers of Violet’s lightning wielding and Xaden’s command of shadows, shown through the marbled cloth case, accented with silver foil stamped lightning. This edition will feature all of the combined art from the two Collector’s Editions, as well as additional, exclusive art.

Our Lettered Edition (limited to 26 copies, A-Z) pays tribute to the Empyrean dragons with real gold foil detailing, and handcrafted dragon scales, handpainted with leather dyes on a fair goatskin cover. The endpapers pay homage to Violet’s weapon of choice—the dagger—and the interior features all the art you’ll find in the Numbered Edition, plus one additional illustration.

Typography The text is set in Times Ten LT Std. All major headlines, including dragon-wrapped drop caps at the start of each chapter, are in Basgiath Font (a Fablelistik Editions custom font), named by Rebecca Yarros.

Art All four Editions are signed by Rebecca Yarros and feature at least seven original pieces of art by digital artist Helena Schmalz.

An ode to easter eggs

Each chapter begins with a beautifully crafted illustration inspired by key moments in the story. She loves military heroes and has been blissfully married to hers for more than twenty years.
